My son had gum on his shirt and it went through the wash...any ways to get it out now that it has been washed & dryied?

try putting it in a deep freezer for a few hours (or over night) for the gum to get hard and you be able to crumple the remaining gum out.
I tried it before I washed my clothes, but it maybe able to work still after you washed it...

Try go jo hand cleaner from the auto parts store. Rub liberally on both sides of the fabric, roll into a ball and let set overnight then wash in the hottest water possible for the fabric. My daughter's gum fell out of her mouth one Sunday after church and this method took all the gum out of the back of my dress.

Peanut butter will take gum out of clothes and hair.
