I look at it this way. There's a 5 in 6 chance of being 30 million better off. If I were unlucky enough to lose, I wouldn't need it anyway. I would stipulate, however, that if I lost, it should go to help provide water, tools and seed for starving people in Africa.

I'm happy with my life, and $300,000--if I got the money, after about a 16.6% chance of survivial--might change who I am or how I act. I wouldn't do it--in this case, if I wasn't killed, I'd never have the life I love back anyway!

Nope. I'm happy with my life, and $30,000,000 isn't worth the risk.

I knew a guy once who tried it. I guess you could say he lost. Not his life--he became a vegetable. He didn't die. He was a 4.0 college student.

Yeah. I wouldn't really care if I died, and I'd also like $30 million, so either way would be fine for me.

nope.

This may seem selfish too.. but I owe it to the people around me who I care for and who care for me to stick it out as long as humanly possible... at whatever cost.
