Eat less calories, and workout more. It's really a numbers game. So long as your output is more than your input, you will lose weight. So if you eat 3000 calories, but sit all day, or barely walk, burning maybe 150 calories, there is no way in hell you will lose weight!

Also, do not lose more than 10% of your body weight per month. In fact, I would leave it at no more than 5% to be safe.

Happy Dieting!

It's generally accepted that mroe than 2 lbs a week is very unsafe. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, experts tend towards 1 lb a week.

If you wanted to try, it would take a restricted calorie diet and lots of cardio. But I'm not even sure 5lbs a week is possible without doing various ...umm...unrecommended practices.

A week??? Nothing quite healthy without exercise and quite a bit to start with. I guess certain diets will do it. Based upon a diet I did no workout or exercises and lost 30 pound in ten weeks which is pretty nice.

It is dangerous to lose that much weight. Because if you lose it that fast, you are bound to gain it back and then some. Best to lose 2 pounds a week or less. Less likely to gain it back and suffer health complication.
