MY husband says that only sexual intercourse is cheating. But what about oral? and what about making out with other than ur spouse?? I say that would be cheating too and any type of romantic relationship even without sex is cheating. I think the spouse is the only one we can do those things with , if we still respect the sanctity of marriage or if anyone gives a damn anymore!

You are not wrong. It sounds like your husband it trying to make excuses for inappropriate behavior. Cheating begins in the heart. It is cheating, as you say, to have an intimate relationship with someone even if it is not sexual. You are cheating the person that you are committed to of that part of you.

Sounds like you two need some counseling, it is very difficult to sustain a relationship when you are not on the same page.

You husband sounds like an a$$, I am sorry to say.

ANY overtly sexual attentions, emotional attachments to "friends"of the opposite sex, or sexual contact phsyically with anyone other than your spouse is cheating. Thats what cheating means:

You are CHEATING your OTHER HALF of the One Man, One Woman union of attentions that are only meant for THEM now! People need to consider this STRONGLY before marriage....geez, not hard to fiqure out.

Basically, if you wouldn't do it, or say it with your spouse standing RIGHT THERE, its a BIG NO-NO!!!

I believe that all that you listed above are all forms of cheating. To me even if you don't touch someone, but you have a strong emotional bond to them (other than your family or a close friend) that to me is also a form of cheating. Just like those men and women that get on here and pour out there hearts to a perfect stranger (things that they don't tell their wife/husband), and they keep communicating with them on a regular basis. That to me is not a normal emotional bond that I think a married person should have other than with their significant other.

Your not wrong. Cheating is doing anything sexual including kissing, petting, having secrets, etc from your spouse. If someone does not agree with that they are looking for a way out without guilt!

No your not wrong! There are those who have relationships like that, but it's only not cheating if the other is totally aware and ok with it. you and your husband have to come to an agreement on what is acceptable and what is not. My question to you is, would he really be okay if you recirocated the behavior? If it's not okay, he's being completely unfair and some might call him a real big a**hole). If he is okay w/ it. You guys need to come to an understanding you both can accept and be happy with.

All that you mentioned is cheating. A commitment to someone is just that "a commitment" so no other touching of any sort should be happening. The only thing you cannot stop is them from looking. As they say, you can have my heart and my soul but you can't have my eyeballs. Must have been a man that said that, ya think?

Any type of sexual talk, or activity with someone of the opposite sex, other than the spouse, constitutes cheating. Men will never see it that way because they don't put sex and love together like woman do. My husband tells me "What does love and sex have to do with each other". Sounds like we have conversations similar to what you have. Men tell on theirself with they hypothetical conversations.

Definition of cheating: anything you would not do if your significant other were standing beside you. And of course, this includes oral sex and making out, inappropriate touching or talk, anything you feel you would have to hide from your significant other is cheating.

Cheating is to get to close or be part of (body or mind or soul) to someone else. Only with your wife in that cain of love.
Ussually is easy for a man to do it, we are weaker in that way.

I agree with the sanctity of marriage.
And you has to be proud of it.
