Does anyone know if there are any new wipeout type games for the PC? (Fast, colourful, futuristic, techno soundtrack)
Or even better, is there a 2006 version of the game on the horizon?
It would have to be a brand new heavy game because I want to push my new graphics card

Play burnout 3... I'm not sure if it's for the PC or not, but I ahve it on xbox. It's like the fastest racing game you'll ever play... wipeout was cool, but it's outdated. So get burnout 3! The crashes are amazing, and you get boost points by taking risks of hitting oncoming cars, and all sorts of fast-paced action. try it! It's the best racing game in existance.

Unfortunately the PC is not the best platform for these kinds of games.
I would recommend the Need For Speed series (Underground and Most Wanted) and Flatout 2. Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast might be worth looking at as well but I haven't checked that one out.
