I only speak the truth. You all jump on me like I'm a rasist. The truth is the truth! I don't hate black people, there are some I really like. My questions still go unanswered, so I can only assume that it's because you don't have a comeback, because I'm correct. Blacks move to white neighborhoods to better themselfs, but it only makes the neighborhood they moved to go bad! If this was not the case, why then are there no nice black neighborhoods for them to move to? I really want to understand this, I'm not trying to be rasist, I just know what the truth is to me! Can anybody tell me something that could make me feel differently?

Well first off I dont consider you a racist, more uninformed than anything bc your making assumptions. Secondly, I am a black woman who moved into a predominately white neighborhood about 3 yrs ago and have yet to regret it. In my neighborhood, on one side of me my next door neighbor is a young white couple w/no kids but very friendly and on the other side is an hispanic couple w/ 3 kids; across the street from me, there is a black family, whom I never see, and next to them is a white couple w/ a little boy, who loves to see my boyfriend mow the lawn, and on the other side of them is a black and white couple w/ 2 teenage kids. The reason why I moved to a white neighborhood was not to better myself, bc I began to better myself the first day I took responsibility for myself as well as my daughter. I honestly moved there, simply put, bc thats where I found the house that I liked and I could afford it. The neighborhood is quiet, the school is 4 blocks from my home, I'm 5-15 min away from convenience stores and malls, and i'm a 30 min drive from my job, and the bonus, the house cost me less than it would have in the city. Contrary to what you may believe, black people like nice things too. We like nice houses, nice cars, nice quiet neighborhoods, not to mention nice schools to give our children good educations. Now I will say that I dont believe all black people move to white neighborhoods to better themselves, so dont flatter yourself, bc that makes me ASSUME (***= u + me) that you think white people make us better and I dont think that, but I will say that I think that SOME, not all, black people move to white neighborhoods, bc they think their better than most black people. Ya feel me???

Well let me attempt this. First I am trying to figure out what you are asking.

1. You want to know if you are considered a racist ?
2. You want to know why others consider you a racist ?
3. You are equating "racist" with "white supremisist" ?
4. You think that there are no nice ethnic neighborhoods, particularly for Blacks ?
5. You think Blacks should stay in neighborhoods separated from other ethnic groups ?
6. You think that Blacks moving into a white neighborhood will degrade the neighborhood ?
7. You think that only Blacks can degrade a neighborhood?
8. Are you against anyone moving to a nicer neighborhood if they can afford housing there ?

Just what ARE you asking--please be more specific and then maybe you will find the answer you are seeking......

Here's why you show signs of being a racist. That is the real question here.

1. You are referring to race groups by their traditionally known skin color: black and white. Therefore you exhibit a racist mentality which is to view races as black and white, good and bad, right and wrong.

2. You believe that when any Afro-American moves into a Caucasian neighborhood, which is magically good by your definitions, the neighborhood "goes bad". This shows that you have a filtered close minded view. How can a all Caucasian neighborhood be all good? How does an Afro-American person(s) make it "bad"? What is bad what is good. You're a racist because you only define good and bad by racial outcome.

3. You use prejudices to form your thinking: You assign behavior traits to one race of people instead of individuals. You judge first and ask questions later without hearing the truth.

4. "The truth is the truth! I don't hate black people, there are some I really like." Oh man I can't even begin to tell you how racist that is.

Yes it appears you've got the racism pretty bad.

By the way, hate doesn't always express itself with physical violence or extreme behavior or language. It often appears calm and acceptable. Hate is a poison that is deaf to change and blind to truth.

My mom's neighborhood, the neighborhood I grew up in is going down hill. But it is not the fault of black people or any other minority for that matter. There are no minorities in her neighborhood. The fact is, the houses are aging and they are being bought by people to turn into rental property and not kept up by the owners. The slumlords in my mom's neighborhood are white men who are out to make a buck.
Neighborhoods change over time and it is no one race's fault.

I know what you mean i asked the question: why do some white ppl talk like they're black when it's obviously fake and you know it's not who they are and everyone jumped down my throat and said i was racist. How you explain your point does make it sound like you are generalising and that you think all black ppl make trouble but it works both ways, you could say the same thing for different nationalities or cultural backrounds. There are good and bad ppl everywhere. Coloured skinned ppl's behaviour is no different from white. If you didn't mean to offend then be a bit more tactful with how you say things.

I don't think the question makes you a racist, but this may not be the best place to ask that question,However it is a place you can ask that question without people yelling at you so loud you can't speak (done on purpose..)or try to beat you up for it (like in school).I think you should have worded the question very carefully and perhaps differently. Part of me feels this isn't a question of color, but a question about our society,or our GOVERNMENT, or poverty or even as deep as culture. I think your question is a legitimate one. Also sometimes emotions heat up over certain questions, clouding the issues, and so people answer the wrong questions, not the one posed...

Wow...ignorance is prevalent because most people don't want to face the fact...that they have it in them. "Why are there no nice black neighborhoods"..your ignorance is showing in a grammatically incorrect way I might add...so work on it. There are affluent black neighborhoods everywhere..in every state. Research little one...research. At the very least go to yahoo and type in your state and follow it with affluent black neighborhoods. I agree...you aren't "trying to be racist" ..went way past that

the fact that you assume people of other races moving into a so called "white" neighborhood makes the neighborhood go bad makes you a racist.
