Just been on e-bay and forgot to read the whole description! turns out the ipod i have bought is 'ipod like' looks exatly the same, uk seller (not hong kong). Has any of you ever bought ne of these there are loads on ebay. help! have i made a huge mistake?

The only *good* iPod look-alike I know of is the Luxpro Super Tangent (aka the Super Shuffle - Apple jackasses sued them because apparently Apple thinks they INVENTED the word "shuffle").

If that's not what you bought, then caveat emptor.

Personally I would stay away from Ipod look-alikes, and I would stay away from ipods in general

I wouldnt... might be a dud... but, you know, it could be alright, just dont be too suprised when its not exactly like an iPod

It was a bad idea because you never know if it is going to break, and then you realize you don't know where to take it to fix it.
