Being racist is part of what makes you ignorant. Especially in this day and time.

Because ignorants is bliss, and so is racism.
People do call them racist, but racist and ignorants go in the same category. Along with shallowness, and sexist people, etc.

Actually, to look down upon another race period is ignorant.

All races are equal in the sight of God. If certain races weren't meant to be, would they not be created?

Racists believe that their race is the only one that deserve to exist. Does that sound like intelligent reasoning to you?

Tell me, what do you think?

Racists stereotype other races just because they see one individual's behavior.

Racists hate, harm and kill innocent people just because they were born into a certain group.

Racists do not try to understand other cultures or groups.

Racists are afraid of what they do not know.

To sum it all up, people who are racist fail miserably in my standards of intelligence.

Racists are ignorant because they are not accepting of anyone different than themselves. They are close-minded and hard to change. Most are uneducated and therefore ignorant.

no. being ignorant means you have a lack of knowledge or awareness about something. if you are racist, you believe in stereotypes about certain races and are not aware of the millions of people who do not fit into those stereotypes.

Because they make assumptions without facts. You can't truly have strong convictions about something without being knowledgeable on the subject. If you live your life in the stereotype and not smart enough to not be blinded by fact I feel you are prone to ignorance. .

Yes if they know the group they are racist against well, then it is an informed opinion.

I think so.... I think it's possible to be educated, but still be a racist.
If you're raised by racists and you live amongst racists and socialize with racists, then you're bound to be a racist, too.

It's a fact Jack! Even if you are raised by racists, you can still educate yourself to know better!
