Sounds like your typical Yellow Garden Spider. Was it big? Hanging in the middle of a big web?

If the body has black ,sounds like a common garden spider. Very pretty.

If it was a large spider, it was probably a corn spider. I've run into a couple of them in fields, and they are pretty scary!

i just figured it out its a poisonus spider whatever you do don't get next to them a 3 year old got bit and died because of such spider!
