I'm on public assistance and i wonder if they pay for a moving truck and the security deposit for an apt? I'm looking to move to another state.

No they will not.
But not a bad idea just pay for the move and get the moochers off your state aid and onto someone elses.

Talk to your Social Worker, probably will not pay unless your public assistance would be moved to that state. If your moving because you found a job, they might, or they could find you a grant

no state is gonna pay for that stuff, those are things that are up to you to pay. At least your on p.a. My family needs $$$ and food and Missouri wont help us a bit. Everyone is on their own in this world, no matter what state you live in.

Surely they will, I mean come on, who doesn't need help moving. Maybe if you need a car and furniture they can help with that too. Or how about a JOB????

they probably do, i used to work for the housing authority here in la and i believe that they did do it for some families, you just have to set it all up with them

i know that you can get help if you are from the gulf states, impacted from Katrina through FIMA. Otherwise, I don't know.
