in my opinion, it all depends on how big the problem is. if the issue is small, try to talk about the it. if the problem can't be resolved, then the only way to solve it is to break up. if a relationship was meant to be, the problems will be able to be solved

Communication is key. However, not everyone knows how to communicate...it is not just talking or listening. Many attempts to communicate can end in fights or hurt feelings. If this is what is happening when you try to communicate, look into couples therapy or couples communication classes.

Some communities offer free counseling if you have children (although they do not need to attend). Check with social services in your area.
Many churches (you do not have to be a member or even a believer) and community centers also offer communication courses.
And depending on what your job is, you may be able to take communication classes at your companies expense, IF it would help in your job and then you can apply these skills to all areas of your life.

Good luck.

Talking it out is a good start. Following through on what you agree on is the next step.

Try talking things out. If that doesn't work then you will have to end it.
