go to the dermatologist and have then perscribe you an antibiotic, you may have to go on a couple before you find one that works, you can only be on the antibiotic for about 3 months but once you finish your skin will be clear and using something topical like triaz pads, faithfully washing your face, and being on a healthy diet will keep your skin clear

(1) Mint Juliep clay mask every other day ($2.50 at dollar stores- i love the stuff!)
(2) Wash face twice a day with Purpose (Target stores nationwide)
(3) DO NOT USE clearasil, oxymoron, or any of those advertised acne products. What they do is dry your skin out so much that your face peels. At the same time, this tells your body to tell your face to produce more oil to protect the skin. So what do you get? Answer- flaky skin with more zits. That's how they make money- with products that make the condition worse!
(4) Go to a dermatologist and ask them about antibacterial oral medications. Don't let them try to ply you with face washes and such!
(5) Don't pop pimples! That causes bad scarring! But if a pimple is really big and it's a white head, gently press a hot rag to the zit for a minute or two. Then GENTLY apply pressure. If it doesn't pop, wait a few hours and try again. If it does, apply more hot water and avoid getting sweat, dirt, or anything else on it until it heals (usually takes a few hours- so this is best to do at bed time).
(6) If you condition persists, ask your dermatologist about Accutane. (It is miraculous!)
(7) Good Luck
(8) Don't give up
(9) Smile
(10) Have a good day!

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

I don't have 10 top ways, but...To get rid of acne, use an acne treatment with benzole peroxide. To prevent acne from coming back, drink plenty of water every day. Use a daily face wash with sacilyic acid in it to unclog dirt and oil from pores, which cause pimples. Make sure to moisturize every day too, because acne medicine will otherwise dry your face out. If your face thinks that it is being dried out, it will produce even more oil, causing acne. Hope I helped.

I know a couple of ways. Boil water, let the steam get to your face, it helps acne. You can put tooth paste over the zits and that works really well. A product I like to use is called Sea Breeze another one is call Clean and Clear and that works really well too. Other than that, wash your face daily, even with soap while your in the shower. Hope it helps : )!

The simplest things are best and these are not in order of importance:
1. Drinking water instead of sugared sodas or caffinated drinks, because it cuts down on the toxins in your body. For example, in diet sodas, aspertame is used instead of high fructose corn syrup, and that aspertame, when broken down, becomes formaldyhyde (the same substance used to preserve dead specimens)
2. A moisterizer for oily skin that won't clog pores. This helps because acne prone skin, is technically dry skin. It doesn't have enough moisture. Therefore, your oil glands produce more oil in hopes to rehydrate...but as you learned in school, oil and water don't mix, so it is not beneficial
3. Never pick at acne. When a break-out or just a solitary zit occurs, put a dab of neosporin or bacctrin on the spot. It will kill the bacteria inside and reduce swelling and pain.
4. If you are a girl, a low-dose birth control pill, I recommend Desogen, helps greatly with acne.
5. A good facial soap that is custom to your sitaution, is preferable to use on faces. Clinique is a good choice because you can find one that matches your needs. For example, you could have an oily t-zone, but dry skin around the cheeks.
6. Medicines for acne, unless its acutane, will stop working after awhile and then there is the hassel of finding a new one that works. This is because your body just becomes used to the medication. Just like how antibiotics no longer work on certain strains of bacteria. They also will make you sun sensitive and you'll need to wear sunscreen. Sunscreen, in turn, often causes even more brake-outs because of the oils they use.
7. Taking hot showers deplete your skin of needed moisture (refer to #2). And no, I'm not suggesting you freeze yourself taking cold showers, but luke-warm or maybe a tad bit hotter is best
8. Facial scrubs can be beneficial, as long as you use them only once a day and use them gently. Overuse will lead to depletion of moisture and damaged skin.
9. Removing make-up before bed will help greatly. It will give your skin a chance to breath in real air instead of the through the chemicals of make-up
10. If you have trouble with body acne as well, a moisturizing lotion will be beneficial. And if you are a guy, don't worry, there are plenty of fragrence-free lotions out there. You want one that does not contain Mineral oil in the ingredients, so that it won't dry your skin out.

I had really bad acne and what I did was to wash my face every night. It might take a while but it works. If you want faster results use Netrogena Pore Clenser or Proactiv.
