Some schools have those programs which simulate dissection, but really there's no possible way to simulate it. I'd say that it's a pretty interesting and important part of an education to see what we and other animals look like inside. I also understand that if you have ZERO interest in the sciences and don't want any part of a dissection, then you really shouldn't have to do it. It's a tough call.

It actual relies upon on your college. while i became in seventh grade and had to dissect a frog, they suggested in case you probably did no longer desire to do the dissecting, detect a lab companion it rather is keen to do it. so which you will purely write down the assistance mutually as they dissect. This year we are meant to be dissecting a rat. yet as i've got been a vegetarian for 3 years, think of it rather is incorrect, and that i do no longer even desire to be interior the room, i visit be chatting with my biology instructor approximately it, and notice if she'd be keen to furnish me an option project. they actually can not tension you to do something you do no longer desire to do. And as long as you clarify your project to your instructor, no longer via throwing a in effective condition or being impolite, they're going to extra beneficial than possibly be keen to artwork with you in this occasion. If all else fails, call PETA. that they had be throughout it. lol(:

I was in high school 20 years ago and refused to dissect the frog. The diagrams in the text books are good enough unless you want to be a doctor.

I wasn't able to use a website(I'm too ancient) However, I was able to do the lab using the textbook diagrams alone.... I have an absoloutely horrific allergy to formaldehyde and watching me turn green and short of breath with an incredible migraine from just being in the same room with it was enough for my biology teacher. I frequently could not be in the room as I could detect even unopened containers that had formaldehyde in them.
