our air unit is in a mobile home and we are having a strange problem. The inside fan does not like to go off. It hangs up and runs constant. During this time the compressor outside does not kick on, the inside fan just hangs up. Any suggestions. The last guy that worked on it put a new relay on but that seemed to make it worse. When the fan hangs up you can flip the kill switch inside and it still does not go off, we have also tried cutting it off at the breaker box and it still does not go off.

There can be numerous reasons for the problem you are having.

Check the thermostat and insure the fan selector switch is NOT in the "On" position. If it is, switch it to the "Auto" position and see if it will stop.

If it doesn't stop when you turn off a breaker, then you must have the wrong breaker. Have someone stand at the fan while you turn off a breaker at a time until the fan stops.

If further assistance is needed be sure to contact a CERTIFIED heating and air specialist in your area.

The 55ft line, even whilst insulated will unfastened warmth. So it is general. in case you install a booster fan. Then it is going to rob different places of the warm air. If there is not any bypass then you definately decide for an exceptionally small skill fan, with some activation gadget. For return air you would be able to could depart the door open or upload a louver equipment on the backside of the door. So examine the air popping out by utilising utilising a thermometer, then examine the different outlet to work out what's the drop between them, I say you will discover new outlet temperature stable 5 to 10 stages F under the different. The thermometer could be low priced one or any situation available, you're basically doing a assessment basically as long as you utilize same thermometer on all out permit and checklist it for comparisons. you are able to upload greater insulation in this new line, and take the analyzing back, and see if the temp went up. the completed uninsulated attic does not decide for insulated (yet will save on the invoice and pay for itself in few years) basically field this line in greater insulation with air hollow, use Styrofoam sheets on 3 section and the ceiling under stands out as the 4 th section, trapped air is a competent insulation, so enable area between the line the the sheets, Elmer glue or comparable glue will make stable joints. confirm you do no longer create condensation difficulty interior this field.
