Once I've paid for an item, I feel like I've fulfilled my end of the contract, and feedback should be left. Once I got a negative from a seller even when I paid promptly and left him positive feedback because he didn't think I was enthusiastic enough in my positive feedback! Do some sellers want to intimidate you into leaving the "AAAAAAA++++++" kind of meaningless stuff? Why should a buyer leave feedback before the seller does?

Many sellers wait until they receive feedback from the buyer before they leave feedback.

In reality, somebody has to go first.
If you are really bothered, you could email the seller saying, that you will leave feedback, once you receive feedback -- some may respond. It's worth a try if it's that important to you.

Ebay Positive Feedback

I but items from time to time. I NEVER leave feedback on items I've bought until after I get the item and make sure its what I expected.

And after having sold a few things, as a seller, I never leave feedback until after I have received feedback from the buyer. Since MOST people I have sold to do not leave feedback until AFTER they have received the item, I usually expect to wait a few days after auction closes and they get the item just incase.

But why make immediate comments? The buyer could try to rip you off, or really not send what you expected...if you have already left feedback, you can't "change" it, just withdraw it. It would look pretty silly if you had posted a comment like "A+ seller, great price, good communication" but then try to go back to ebay later and say "Well the guy ripped me off, or didn't send the item" etc. Even if I sell something and someone leaves feedback right away, I may wait a few days or a week to ensure they have no problems before I make my comments.

Everyone's different I suppose, just don't be offended by someones feedback (or their timeframe for posting it) unless they are leaving BAD feedback for you.

Can't speak for all sellers, only myself. I got burned a couple of times. One buyer claimed "item not received" even though I sent the item registered mail, signature required. PayPal said my proof of delivery was convincing and denied the buyer's claim to get his money back. But he still left negative feedback, even though I left positive as soon as I got his payment.

Another buyer didn't like that it took 9 days to receive the item, even though she selected the cheapest method of delivery. I left positive feedback as soon as payment was received but she left negative.

Now I have a statement that says, "If you have ANY problems with the item you receive, please email me first before leaving negative feedback so I can make things right. I will leave positive feedback for you once I am assured you are happy with your purchase. And I'll know you're happy when you leave me positive feedback. Thanks."

As I'm sure you know, once feedback is left, it can't be changed or removed unless the buyer and seller both agree to mutually withdraw their feedback comments.

Hope this answers your question.

I call client help and that i'm getting a guy examining from a internet site an evidence that doesn't make sense. do no longer they make adequate value on my sales? i've got on no account seen such company greed in my life. would desire to I be shocked. see you later ebay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The buyers want to see your response and make sure it's positive. They also want to respond to any specific negative feedback. If you say "product not as ordered" they may say "buyer was offered opportunity to return product", for instance.

You feedback has no bearing on what his feedback should be. Just never buy from them again and make sure everyone you know does not and pass the word around. That is BAD business.
