Anyone used the wireless in LAX?

Do you know what the connection is like? Bandwidth and such? Is it free?

I've heard it's free, I've heard it's not. Why on earth would a place like LAX not have free, blazing fast wireless? Someday, we'll all get free wireless wherever we are. *sigh*

WiFi is available in LAX for a fee. Also, T-Mobile may have hotspots there at Starbucks, also for a fee.
