Gilligan's Island. Think theme. Think fun. Think laughter.

We have an open house in our offices every year, and our open house is the most attended open house in our town.

Why?? Because every year we do a different theme, we're dressed in costume, we have fun, and the people attending have fun.

We give away freebie's that our vendors sent to us, anywhere from pens to notepads, etc. But we're not remembered for the giveaways, but for the fun.

Good luck and great success with your open house.

Every boat owner loves naming their boat- so I would give them personalized items with their boat's name- good quality plastic cups , high quality paper napkins with the name of their boat, guest towels.
I would also find a custom soap maker and have them make a custom soap mold- give them hotel size bars of soap with their boat name or a design like their boat.
I love deck chairs with embroidered logos/names- like a neck pillow or even a deck blanket.
Those vintage looking pillows that are from individual states ( i.e. Florida) are fun to give.
Sailcloth tote bags are great- and you could also give beach towels, flip flops, insulated drink cups, sun visors, sunglasses.
A really new thing out on the market are these votive lights that run on clock batteries. The votive is frosted plastic and they come in colors. The lights run about 30 hours and you replace the battery.
CD's with cruisin' music....the list could go on.

Hi, perhaps you can try Google adwords to market your service/product.

Google adwords is a text-based system for advertising on its site and its partner sites. The service allows you to create your own ads, choose keywords to help match your ads to your audience, and control the cost of your advertising—you pay only when people click on your ad (a cost per click plan). Anyone wishing to promote a product on Google can enroll in this program.

you can get a 5 detail pages information about Google adwords at :

I quite having house parties because people would bring friends that I didn't know, and my house would get tore up. The final straw was when someone smashed a cigarette on my floor, hurt one of my friends, and tore the screen door off the hinges.

one item that would be easy, you could make from inexpensive craft sticks ,like Popsicle, but squared and larger.next design and print some stickers and just affix them to the wood. the stickers could read "you don't have to walk the plank for top rate furniture etc...???" good luck - oddyerdy

I would like a teak fight chair. It would be memorable, personal (put my name on it), creative (write my name in funny colors), and inexpensive (DOH). Three out of four is pretty good.
