Anti persperant just helps you not sweat as much. I recommed getting something that has both antipersperant and deodorant so that way you dont sweat or smell bad. Thats what I use and it hasn't affected my health.

The aluminum chemical in deodorants and antiperspirants can have an accumulative effect over the years... some say that this can be a causing factor in Alzheimer's... doctors deny this... but they cannot disprove it either! Aluminum pots and pans, frying pans can also be a source for this... I do not use any aluminum cookware of any kind...I use stainless steel cook and bake wear...and cast iron skillets... and I bath each day and do not use deodorants of any kind... I have had no one tell me that I have offensive body odor either... Good Luck!

Some people believe that antiperspirant blocks the sweet gland and this may build up into a mass to create a tumor. i guess if that were true it would be harmful. but it isn't by any means a proven fact.

Sometimes depending on your bodies PH level it can cause you skin to rash or your glands to dry or over perpetrate.

I would suggest using a deodorant or antiperspirant that is unscented or for sensitive skin they are more body friendly in my opinion :)
