I used to lead a double life. That was with my previous marriage. My parents hated my ex and threatened to disown me if I married him. So I married him (like a dumb a$$) and never told my parents. We moved to another state because of my job, and my parents thought that I finally got rid of him, not knowing that he came with me as my spouse. It was such work trying to answer all their calls, and when we go "home" to visit, he would stay with his mom and I'd stay with my parents. It was just too much. When we really started having marital problems and the sh*t hit the fan, I had no choice but to tell my parents and they helped bail me out of the situation.
Moral of the story, its just not worth it leading a double life.

I live two lives at two houses. but that is not a double life as you mean it. You mean a secret life that decieves others, Right?
I live my family life and then I go to my Dad and do everything I can for him as well. I am hosting two homes technically. That's all.

Only in my mind. There are things you do in private that you don't do in public. You think about things you would do if circumstances were different. You act different around kids than you do around your buddies. There are things that you do with your mate that you would not admit to in public. I know that it is not like having two wives, or cheating in a relationship, but we all have many lives.

I think everyone does in someway. There's at least how we act around other and how we act inside ourselves. I know I have a different way of behaving around my school friends, neighboorhood friends, family, internet friends, etc.
