I like old school hip hop as well. There is more meaning to the songs and you can understand them better.

hip hop right now is dead so old school hip hop is better. Old and new R&B is about equal for me but if I had to choose i pick old school for SWV and Xscape.

I think new school is much better. Original new school, lots of times they just remake old stuff and that is not new school.
