i am concerned about a uterine rupture and am wondering what my chances are. I have had 2 previous transverse c-sections.

Chances are pretty slim if you have had three c-sections. The scar tissue impedes the muscular contractions, and its also somewhat weak, will rupture easily in labor, and prolong labor at the same time. A doctor can assess your percentages better than I, but to be honest, I wouldn't risk it. A ruptured uterus can risk your life and that of your unborn child. Why risk that if you don't have too?
