My sheep didn't really shed hers but I was petting her one day and found it just sort of rolled off in a bundle when I gently pulled it. It was strange she looked like she had been sheared. They must shed I figured, she did it whenever it got so long.

No they don't. There was a case in Australia of a ram that went AWOL, he was caught and rounded up 4 years later and he had the most amazing fleece. You could just see the tip of his nose sticking out. They sheared him on tv for charity.

no if sheep are not shawn , there have been storys in the new of sheep never being shawn and they ended up waigt the wool at over 5 stone just for the wool

The wool just gets thicker and longer. They do need to get clipped preferably every sprint.
