I guess it's because in America, people actually CARE about what brand their shoes are and make a really big deal out of it. In China people are probably more sensible and just think of shoes as mechanisms for covering their feet.

money in every country has a different value 20$in china mat cost 90$ over here. i know that japans yen 1000 yen over there is around 9$ here . there is a difference in currenct thats all

The Chinese are well known for their theft of intellectual property,reverse engineering and copying (illegally) trademarked items of every kind. Because of the very cheap labor they are able to sell their pirated goods at what appear to be substantial savings.

They are made in China, therefore the cost is lower. Also they are not in as high of demand as they are in the US.

They might be knockoffs. Nike's here are made with certain quality control... in China, there's no qc for their work.

because people in china made them in china therefore they cost next to nothing....but they cost more here because they had to be imported and that makes them cost more.

Some of them are made there and thus you don't have to pay the transportation fees. Others are fakes. Immitation.
