I read and heard that after the 12th week of pregnancy the risk of miscarriage drastically drops. Could anybody tell me if they are talking about 12 weeks after conception or 12 weeks after the first day of your last period? Thank you so much.

After your first trimester the risk does drop. 12 weeks of pregnancy

Its after conception, cuz thats when all the forming takes place, basically saying that after 12 weeks,all it does is grows and matures.Good Luck!

12 weeks after LMP. However, miscarriage can still occur right up to due date. Then it's called stillborn.
