I know I have reported someone before who had placed a horribly bad question before, and afterwards firgured I shouldnt have done that because I was the one who chose to look at the question. But what drives you to report?

Yes, usually for racial/hatred comments. Some for chatting/personals.

I have reported foul language and once a horribly misspelled question that made no sense. I figure that if you can't spell well enough to even have spell check work then you should not even be on a computer. I think that it was done that way on purpose. Also, the bad language in a few can be so disgusting that I don't think that it belongs on-line anywhere.

I reported someone for harassing someone else. I first didn't understand why the one person was so defensive and rude until I read the answers by this other individual who was racially and politically berating the the first person. I reported the second person, her name was Edna, and I haven't seen that kind of abuse since.

Yes, people have been reported for racism, chatting, but i think people are too picky. I've never reported anyone yet, and i don't plan to, but i may one day if someone is really bad.

I reported a woman because she had a picture of her naked as her avatar (yes it was an actual person, not some animation). There are TOO many kids up here to put such a picture

I have been falsly reported like 7 times for not being a question or answer, phishing, soliciting each multiple times.

i never have and never will..this is yahoo answers..its not life or death..people get offended too easily...i got reported last week for writing down a song lyric that had a curse word in it..and its annoying..GET A LIFE REPORTERS

If I report someone its because of really bad language or overtly sexual questions which don't even fit the category.

nah. i've never reported anybody... because that doesn't stop them. it's as easy as opening another account and annoy people even more. i've seen the most stupid questions and the most stupid people here, i just ignore them.. when i can think of a wise-@ss answer, i'll say it.
