Stain caused by backing used on floor mats. Tried regular floor cleaner but to no avail. Any thoughts?

I would be fearful of useing any of the afore mentioned chemicals. Most of them have have properties that damage or melt your flooring if used incorrectly. Soft scrub may work, if not try on of those big pink erasers you uesd in school. the contain a mild abrasive. Depending on the size of the area affected it could be tedious work, but try it on a small area first.GOOD LUCK

Sorry to allow you already know, yet i haven't got here upon something that works to get rid of that stain to boot putting down new vinyl flooring! there is a few thing interior the backing that reacts chemically with some thing interior the vinyl.

Try to use nail vanish remover. If that don't work try to use a PVC cleaner, but you have to go on to your knees for these jobs. Good luck and let me know if that has worked.

Try rubbing alchohol, or soft scrub. Just a guess.

OXICLEAN AND CLOROX IN VERY HOT WATER...REPEAT UNTIL THE STAIN IS GONE.
