Totally knackered wheel bearing possibly.

Well it won't be a hungry tum that's for sure and I really don't know if you'll accept a female answering this Q. but as others have said it could be back axle, tyres, wheel bearing or even the exhaust.

How do I know - my other half works on cars and its surprising what bits and pieces of knowledge I pick up.

Do hope it's nothing too serious and expensive to repair. Good Luck!!!!!

Stop feeding it beans!

Just kidding

I think you may have a bearing that went south on you, or a possible problem involving one of your tires. My hunch is that you've got a tire that's a little out of balance due to a weight falling off. This is kinda common, and is relatively easy to fix

If its not a wheel bearing, which I don't think it is. It could be the exhaust rubbing against the chassis which normally makes a rumbling noise.

I also believe that it's the wheel bearings. If the noise is in direct relation to vehicle speed then thats your problem.
