What is the worst final episode of a television show that you have seen? I think "Roseanne" I saw it for the 4th or 5th time yesterday, and I still think it was horrible.

I don't know why I watched it again - I guess I didn't get it, and was hoping I was missing something, appearently not.

Trekkies like me would probably nominate the finale of "Enterprise" ("These Are The Voyages") as the worst way to end a show. Basically Enterprise hadn't been doing well in its past three seasons, so for its fourth season the people in charge of Star Trek, Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, effectively handed over the creative reins of the show to a guy named Manny Coto, who managed to make the best that he could of the show, especially considering that the budget had been slashed; he brought out some of the most fan-pleasing episodes of the series and tried hard to make Enterprise the prequel that it was supposed to be.

But Berman and Braga decided to save the writing of the finale to themselves, and came up with this story that brought in two Next Generation people--Riker and Troi--as the central characters, and had them interacting with/witnessing a holodeck version of Enterprise's final mission. They took the focus away from the show's main crew (some of them barely got any screen time), they killed off Trip Tucker--the one character that the (remaining) fans most connected with, and lastly, they end the episode seconds before the captain has his moment of glory (speaking at the conference that would bring about the creation of the Federation)...as Captain Archer makes his way to the dais, Riker nonchalantly ends the holodeck program and he and Troi casually stroll out of the holodeck. No rousing speech, no respectful pan over the actors who busted their butts for four thankless years of mediocre scripts. Just a little cut-together montage of Kirk and Picard's "Space...the final frontier" speech, with Archer sharing the monologue, to close things out.

All in all, Enterprise's finale felt like a big "f--- you" to all the Star Trek fans from Berman and Braga, who then left the Star Trek franchise for dead. One small consolation was that Manny Coto (probably knowing he wouldn't get another chance) did write in a more fitting end for the Enterprise crew (including a nice wrap-up speech from Archer) for the second-to-the-last episode of Enterprise; I always tell my fellow Trekkies to pretend "These Are The Voyages" doesn't exist, and that the penultimate episode ("Terra Prime") was the real finale for Enterprise.

I don't remember the Roseanne final. I'm going to say Grounded for Life. It was so obviously put together at the last minute.

THe final Episode of Moonlighting was pretty bad, as was the final episode of Friends. OH and Yeah, Seinfeld. How really disappointing.

Like you, I enjoyed Rosanne's show, but the final season was the pits. The final show was like Seinfeld, "How can we really mess with people's minds?" Very bad idea....taints the entire show in syndication.

Best final: Newhart. If you haven't seen it, it's the best episode of the entire series.

The last episode of Will and Grace dragged and frankly gave me the creeps. They didn't do "aging" very well, so they all just looked like they had dried glue on their faces. L-A-M-E. It would've been better if they stopped before the jump into the future and just had Will and Grace saying "goodbye"--leaving everyone to wonder what will happen to them.

exceedingly plenty each and every ending to a Sailor Moon series. the 1st one replaced into ok. however the final :SPOILER ALERT: I recommend come on, tragic deaths for each and all of the sailor scouts, ok some deaths easily sucked, like Sailor Venus, Jupiter and Mercury died besides as Mars, yet in basic terms Mars had the actual tearful communicate section, and it befell in a chop up 2nd. Then, via fact the series/episode is coming to a end and Sailor Moon is dealing with off against a gloomy and callous enemy that has killed all her pals, she reaches out with love and heals her enemy with compassion and love, and then all of her pals in basic terms reappear alive and nicely. Like no. If i replaced into advised to jot down this tale, having one in each and every of those dramatic ending as such (And this replaced into meant to be the tip to the entire of Sailor Moon, until eventually they presently desperate to deliver it lower back for yet another series come early next 365 days), i might have her possibly have saved a number of her pals, have her lose an arm or an eye fixed, and then have her stabbing Sailor Galaxia (Her enemy) with a sword or some thing-- And thats yet another ingredient, she had a sword, they the two had a sword, and Sailor Moon might in basic terms like no longer even use her sword, and Galaxia replaced into in each and every single place throwing swings the two fringe of Sailor Moon, yet there replaced into no like plunging of the sword during the physique of another, or clashing sword play. So terrible. possibly afterwards, she supplies her existence over to end the enemy, or leaves planet earth for another reason. yet no.. nevertheless, what are you able to anticipate from Magical woman Anime. Its all love treatments all evil, and on the tip of each and every episode, series or saga, it reverts lower back to normality. No plot advancements or something. rubbish. yet I nevertheless take exhilaration in it i assume. Oh Oh and the ending to CardCaptor Sakura. :SPOILER ALERT: she jumps halfway during the air, and you don't get to work out if she cleared the hollow that she replaced into leaping, at the same time as she declares that she Loves Syaoran Li (Or although his call replaced into), no actual ending. i might rather them have ended it along with her a minimum of having talked to the rather some different characters, like Tomoyo and each and all of the others and then her discussing her destiny for the enjoying cards, and then possibly sealing them away. i do no longer know. i did no longer take exhilaration in it. Gotta end watching magical woman anime. :3
