first off it is the soap so you use it as the soap no substitute neede and second you get a shower pouf and you put a drop about the size of nickle on the pouf and lather up that means to make lots of bubbles and then you wash your body repeat if needed and then rinse it out and rinse off and then you are done.
that is the proper use foer shower gel

shower gel/body wash is soap in liquid form. you can apply it to a washcloth or poofy sponge to get the most out of it (thick lather). there's no need for extra bar soap, unless you feel you need it. there are also some shower gels that can be used as a shampoo as well.

Use it just like soap, you dont need to use bar soap after. I love body gel, it smells heavenly.

the same as the soap but in a liquid form ... i don't like the soap in its old form it looks like a stone and it can slip from you hand when you hold it
