What are the most important and effective things to do the day of weigh-in for wrestling to stay in your weight class? For example: If you need to weigh in @ 160 and you are at 161.6 what do you do? Especially involving water weight... Any tips would be appreciated!

This is for competative amatuer wrestling... ie H.S. & College

Cut water weight.

Best thing to do is wrap yourself in clothes that will hold the moisture in, and sit in a sauna. Sweat the weight out.

After you've made weight, be sure to re-hydrate.
