I could care less about "megahits", I care about ROI, return on investment, I care about the quality of the click, how many produce sales.
Both produce differing results, and can respond differently to different keywords. If you're not optimizing separately, tracking separately, and treating them as different campaigns, then you're just throwing money away, and results.
Google = Better profits per click for me.
Yahoo = More clicks.
So which is better? Both, as long as they are both producing a profit.

Well, as someone who makes said greetings cards. That means on average it will cost you 1.50 for every sale. Will you make any profit? On top of that you could get a dry run. How much will you be charging for postage and packaging? Some people don't want to pay a fair rate. What about stock? How much stock will you carry? Will you be making to order? You need to look at some peoples business sites and investigate the marketing methods that they are using. Can think of plenty of other questions but it is not really approprate to discuss your putative business in this forum. beond the superficial level.

From my professional perspective, both have ups and downs. I guess it depends on what you are doing and what your beef is with search engine. I do affiliate marketing and from my stand point, google always produces better in the long run.

I use both forms of advertising and make money from both but the bottom line is that I get more traffic and "hits" from "adsense". At least in my sites / blogs which are based on major and heavily competitive keywords. I assume that you have your site listed in the major search engines
