EXACTLY! I mean, probably 80 % of people eat catsup on their fries. What's the deal?

That answer is simply answered with the single word: COST. After many years of doling out the packets of ketchup, *The Higher Ups* decided that it cost more money to continue this practise than to offer the same product a a side-item.
Yes..... Mickey-D's is a BUSINESS (profit) driven company. But when you consider [the bottom line] ALL businesses are that any more.
We all have to bend with the tree that holds the treehouse or else we will fall out!

Because as an employee they give you a speech about it. Your trainer shows you a picture of a huge pile of condiments and tells you that's how much you could save in so much time (don't remember how long). Its a big thing about saving the company money.... so you have to ask for it if you want it.

cost containment its called if they save a penny a order that is alot of $ between all the stores a day..they say the cup costs more than the drink does that is why they always try to supersize ya to make more like they need to huh they have so many people hooked well not me :}

actually, what's even worse is that if you want ranch for your chicken nuggets, you have to pay extra! That is the only fast food place to pull such a thing - made me stop going!!
