Outside the U.S. Yahoo users, do they correspond in their language or English?

My daughter in law lives outside the US. MY son went to her country to marry her while on leave since he is active Army stationed outside the U.S. I know she speaks and understands limited English. While she does use Yahoo in her country does her computer automatically translate when I E-mail her?

No, computers don't automatically translate email or any other documents. There is a not a program available which can do so automatically or even with any accuracy. I speak, read and write Spanish and English is my native language. I use three different messengers to communicate with people around Latin America and across the U.S. You have to write in the language you're using. The computer only prints on screen what you tell it to and in the language you tell it in.

Ok, I've had similar issues. When they are outside the U.S., they communicate in their native languages. Depending on the software that she uses, its doesn't always translate from English to their language.
When i e-mail my parents in China, the e-mail I send over will be in English. Their e-mail to me will be in Chinese or English depending on which language they use.
What I suggest you do is e-mail her in English but make it somewhat similified, so she can understand. In the e-mail ask her if she could correspond in English also. Let her know the only reason that you are asking for it in English because you may not have her language software installed on your computer. This way, you are not offending her. Some people can get very offended when you make sure requests.
