Your main problem is that you used yahoo's search engine. Use google or dogpile for much better results.

Is it always the same page you're being redirected to?? If so, you're computer probably has some sort of spyware/virus problem... I would suggest to run a scan with Spybot - Search & Destroy and with an antivirus software..

i am not entirely clear on your question here. is it when you search for 'cool cars' it brings a search window not related with your search query.
OR
when you receive the search query for 'cool cars' you click on a link on there, say for example www.coolcars.com, but when it loads the page the site is named 'www.carsarecool.com?
if this is the problem, it will just mean that www.coolcars.com has been closed, and has a redirect feature added to forward you to the new address, in my example www.carsarecool.com.
hope this answers it

it is possible you have something that "hijacks" your browser. If so, it was installed as spyware to take you to a page that may even give points to the person who installed the hijacker. There are sites that pay 1-2 cents everytime someone is sent to a certain site. That is a means to get people to put advertising on thier pages.
HAVE YOU BEEN HIJACKED??? well maybe!!!!!

go to tools on the top bar and choose internet options and from there in general tab change your home page or whatever like www.yahoo.com
that way it wont redirect you.
also you could have a possible spyware in your pc get rid of that first.
