THESE DAYS Intel is probably outselling AMD as Intel does command top tier position in the market, but AMD is taking a larger percentage than Intel is comfortable with. Intel's new chip the Core 2 Duo will probably outsale the AMD chips when they get the shortage situation under control, while the pentium is a dying breed.
The Core 2 Duo is a cool running chip, but despite what cellular says the Athlon chips run significantly cooler than pentium chips.

recently dell has decided to put amd on their line of computer that could make more amd in the market.amd is cheaper n better technology but heat up a lot faster than pentium.
