Nope. Major cramping either means PMS or Miscarriage.
I had very little cramping. I could feel "stiches" when I moved, like ligments expanding and stuff...but I haven't had any cramping.
Tell her to buy a better BRAND. It should either be positive or negative, not inconclusive. It's not rocket science to take a pregnancy test. Tell her to get First Response.
I HIGHLY doubt that she's pregnant.
OK if she's going to miscarry, it will happen naturally. Very rarely do ppl in the first trimester need a D&C.
2 - Severe pain could be a tubal pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy. Which could be life threatening for her.
I would take another test. Ask her the pain on a scale of 1-10 and anything over a 7 she needs to tell mom and dad and go to the dr.

I had major cramping for about two weeks, I thought I was having the worst pms ever! until a friend had me buy a test actually I had to buy 4 of them! first two inconclusive then the next ones all positive and then today the doctor said positive. The doctor is your best bet if not just keep buying those tests!

I am a labor and delivery nurse, and many people come to me with this very question. First- how late is she? Many young women have irregular periods, and most of them have severe cramping with this. If she's just a few days past her regular starting date, cramping would not be caused by a tubal pregnancy. This would likely take atleast a couple weeks to occour. My advice is to have her take a couple tylenol 325's, rest, drink plenty of fluids. Tomorrow take another test. Take another the next day. If cramping becomes intolerable by all means take her to the Emergency Room. They can do ultrasounds and Blood Tests to confirm pregnancy. Good Luck!

If she is having major cramping she should go see a doctor. It might not have anything to do with being pregnant. She could have something a lot worse then being pregnant, tell her not to put her health at risk by putting it off.

inconclusive? are they bad tests or are you talking about a blood test that has some hcg showing but not enough to be called a positive test? if she's had 2 tests like that then she may have gotten pregnant, but is going through an early miscarriage.

What do you mean by "inconclusive"? Either the pregnancy test came back positive or negative. But, I agree with the other responses--Seek medical attention because you never know.

first of all if she thinks she is pregant she should see a doctor. It will not go away. If she is, she will need to get medical treatment for her and the baby.
Yes if she is cramping and pregnant she could be about to lose her baby and would need treatment for herself. If she is not, then she should know within a few hours. hope this helps good luck.

she could be pregnant... if it is inconclusive she NEEDS to go to a doctor. whether it be a clinic so her parents dont know or the e.r. where they cant tell your parents. and if she is not then if you take her school id then you can get free birth control at the clinic so that way it will not happen again

She needs to see a doctor. She may be having some serious health issues.
You need to go to an adult member of your family and address the situation because she could be in some real danger if she doesn't get help.
