Direct and to the point, I started my period I need pads or tampons. If you do have someone you trust or get along with you might want to talk to them about it, because there is so much more to the process then just starting your period.

I Would Just Say That You Need HerTo Go With You To The Store To Buy A Few Things. Then When You Get There Ask Her For Help Buying Your Personals She Understand That Your Period Came

I didn't tell my mom and she was livid... I never really understood why it's necessary to tell her; it seems so private to me. Especially when you aren't close (my mom & I weren't, either). I would just make a casual comment that you need tampons next time she goes to the store. Such unnecessary drama!

well first off i think that your mother would want to be the first to know but if you dont want to tell her that than you can find someone you trust to tell her and then from then on you need to work on the relationship aspect with your mother becuz i am sure she would be more than happy to help you anything nowthat sh ehas your trust and you have hers.

Girl it's not a big deal. She already knows you gon get it soon so just mention it to her. It's not like you need her to help you with anything anyway you just wanna let her know.

I know how that feels. I was the same way. I had an older sister so I got my older sister to tell her. But in the end, it was not that bad after all.
