When looking for houses we saw this house and we bought this house about one month ago, we did not notice any creaking noices? Since we have been here there is creaking sounds all the time. We have been told that it is due to the heat in the attic and the cold inside the house meeting each ohter.

When the weather get cooler, will the creaking cease and at least decrease somewhat?

I don't know if this is an answer or more of a confirmation, but we never had floor creaks until our roof fan in the attic stopped working. Now, the floors creak all the time. I never put the two together until I read your question. It does not seem to decrease in the colder months.

I would put a fan in anyway. Even if the creaks don't stop the fan will at least keep the attic cooler and thus keep your house cooler in the summer.

Two thoughts that come to mind:
Yes, the roof could could creak through expansion and contraction. A fan might moderate the temperature differences. I've never heard of this problem causing constant creaking.
It also could be wind, either torqing the house or the roof.
