babys smiles when they have gas, they even smile with the sleep, but its nothing to worry about

They say you can tell a real smile by their facial expression and their eyes. If their eyes light up when they smile than it is a real smile. My brother's baby when she was 6 weeks old she got get to giggle all the time too. Some babies will do it right away and other not. My 2 1/2 month old only has giggled once for me and I have to really work hard for it.

Yes and you won't forget it. My son use to smile and giggle when he fell in a deep sleep. I know then I could put him down.

Sure, why not. It could be gas though. My baby has smiled since she was born, but like I said, maybe gas.

It's great isn't it? my daughter is 2 1/2 months old and she started about 6 weeks. we sit and talk to her and she talks back and smiles. i love it. ENJOY!!!!
