Pregnancy is a wonderful thing. It is probably the best thing that you will ever go through in your life. You can feel the life you helped create grow and move inside you. And, if you are a curious person, you can check out some of the "pregnancy week-by-week" sites to find out exactly what changes are occurring with your child on a weekly basis. It is fascinating. Don't worry about the weight or stress out about becoming depressed. Just try to relax and enjoy the experience.
Good luck, and all the best.

Just calm down and take a deep breath! The mother in you will take over soon. Your hormones are all over the place right now and being scared is very normal. Just remember you are about to experience the most blessed miracles! You are bringing life into this world! The weight will come off and if you are truely concerned with depression then talk with your doctor. Medicine isn't always the answer! Try changing your frame of mind and thinking possitively! Pray for the Lord to show you the way! Be happy! You are going to be a mommy!!!!! CONGRATS!

I was worred about get post natal depression, I used to get in a right state about it. I stopped reading baby books! Most of them scare monger about it.
I have had depression in the past and that was one of the r easons I was sor worried and to be honest I have never felt more fufiled and happy now I have my family.
Try not to worry, I know its easier said than done but try your best. And if something is worrying you then tell someone about it. It might be an old saying but a problem shared is a problem halfed.
You will gain weight but as long as you don't use being pregnant as a licence to eat all the junk under the sun then it will be easily shifted afterwards. Although your tummy might not be as firm but thats normal!
Relax into your pregnancy and it will be a breeze. I loved it!
If you ever have a worry you want to share then contact me!

Of course there is excitement in bringing a baby into the world, you are providing the place to grow, and the nutrition for a baby who is depending on you.. that makes you a very special and wonderful and important person! any huge life change is scary. If you can find a Pregnancy Support Center where you can spend time with other pregnant women/moms so you can hear other stories.. not all stories are bad :)
feel free to add me to messenger if you would like to talk

Hi - I had a wonderful experience while pregnant. I was in Florida and was able to swim every day - and that really helped with the weight and the depression. In fact my son was a really BIG baby and towards the end, the pool was the only place I was really comfortable! Relax, don't worry, enjoy!

if you eat right the way you are suppose to, then don't worry about the weight gain. And about depression, you would need to talk to a doctor about that.

I never was pregnant, but I'm also on anti-depressants, but I hear how some women enjoy being pregnant.

Please buy the book "What to expect when you are expecting" it gives you month by month account of what your body may go through, the baby's growth and what to expect at your dr appt. It helped me .....remember dont rush to meds right away and talk everything out with your spouse and dr.
Good Luck :-)
