Oh, he's as dumb as people think, and then some.
I read a study that compared the speeches, mannerisms, college and school work etc. over several decades of presidents, Bush had an estimated IQ of 95-105
Which in my opinion is too high.
But for a real answer, I believe his idiocy is his confidence. Anyone is stupid or dumb when they can't step back and question themselves. When they cant possibly ask "wait, what if im wrong?"
He obviously has never asked himself this, but blindly makes decisions and speeches with selfassured confidence. This is why he is stupid and why he should not be the leader of such a powerful country.

he's not as dumb as people think he is, some of the choices he's made and some solutions he's concluded to haven't always worked out, but it seems nowadays people are mainly angry at him because of the war, but thing is the President can't declare war, that's the Congress' job, Bush has to go to the Congress every 3-6 months to ask for the Congress' permission to send troops into Iraq and continue the war, if the Congress were to say "the war will end now" the President would be going against our Constitution if he continued any warlike activities and would be kicked out of office

I'm sure he's not too dumb. You don't get to where he is by being dumb.
He's made a LOT of bad calls since running the show as
many of us realize. I don't know if dumb is the word to use.
