They keep asking me stupid questions out of a manuscript that some nobody from Minneapolis wrote and I obviously they have right answers because I can't figure out what they want me to say and I never get the job at Target. I've got 9 straight months of retail experince and 3 years altogether, what more do they want?!?!

I interview with Target several years ago. One of the things I picked up on is they are looking for employees who are flexible, both on the schedule and which department they work in; employees who are easy to train (your experience should help there); and employees who will get along with everyone. Retail is truly a "team" environment so project the "go get'em" attitude and I'll bet you get the job...

Getting a job at target should't require all that much. If your not getting picked up you must be doing something wrong during the interview process, it cannot be due to lack of experience( I have seen the people they hire). Swallow your pride and play their stupid games and pretend you love it.

Stop acting like you're too good for them if you want the job there. Be appreciative and honest with your answers. Unless they're asking math or history questions I doubt there are "right" answers.

Perhaps it's your attitude. The "nobody in Minneapolis" got hired.

Honey, if you want the job there you have to put up with dumb questions even if you don't like them. Be professional and friendly to maximize your chances of getting the job!

If you have to ask this question then you are not qualified to work at Target.
