You poor, deluded little child. The alchemy you see on FullMetal Alchemist is, how do I put this lightly... a load of crap. There is real alchemy, though. But it;s not the "poof! magic beans from the sky" kind of crap you see on FullMetal. You don't just print some magic circles off the internet, throw in a dash of salt and like magic all your wishes are granted. Becoming an alchemist takes hard work and determination. First off, read "Distiling Knowlage," a book on the history of alchemy, it's properties, and it's effect on the scientific revolution.Second, try learning how to read the 14th century texts that most of alchemy is written in. Here's a link to just that sort of guide.

Thirdly, try studing the alchemical texts, most of which have been typed into digital form and can be found here: http://www.levity.com/alchemy/texts.html
and finaly, set up an alchemic lab and try some of the experiments described in the texts. WARNING: DO NOT TRY ANY OF THE PROCEDURES INVOLVED WITHOUT A PROPER ALCHEMICAL LAB!
