It probably depends on the law in your state. There are alternatives to abortion. You may want to contact the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). I hear they have a great program for young girls who are expecting where they go live with a family until their baby is born and give it into a loving home. That's just something I heard of, have no experience with it. It just seems that unless the underage child agrees to the abortion, hard feelings will linger between that child and her parents for the rest of her life.

I do not think that you can no matter where you live. Not only that why would you want to. You may not want your child to become a mother but apparently this is what she wants if she hasnt already decided to get an abortion. Not only that even if she doesnt want to keep the baby she can always give it to a family that can take care of her baby and want a baby. Even if you try to make her do it she would just hate you for the rest of her life. I hope that you make the right decision.

There are exceptions:
If the child's health in danger by being pregnant
If the child is developmentally disabled
There's a couple more, maybe someone can add.
don't force a kid to abort if they are healthy. It may be a mistake to be pregnant at an early age, but think of the life you will be ending before it has a chance.

You have the rights over your own sexual and reproductive organs. Your parents can't force you to have an abortion just like they can't stop you from having sex. If you want to keep your baby and you live in a state that lets your parents decide your medical health, take it to court. There are lawyers that will take your case for free. By the time you win you will have had your baby.

I do not believe so. I know a friend that was trying to be forced and when she got there, she had to go thru a brief counseling session and was very upset about being there and told counselor that her mom was basically forcing her (see was 17).Since she was so upset and obviously did not want to have an abortion, she was told to think it over for at least 48 hrs and if she decided she still wanted to, then she could come back.

Absolutely not! It is illegal to force anyone to abort a child. If you or someone you know needs help, please go to a crisis pregnancy center right away. They can help you find a safe place to stay, if necessary. They can also give you referrals for financial, medical, legal, and assistance; free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds; free maternity and baby supplies; pregnancy, parenting, and adoption information; and counseling and emotional support. You can find one near you here:
http://www.optionline.org/advantage.asp
or by calling 1-800-395-HELP
If someone is pressuring you or a friend to abort, remember that that person will not live with the consequences of abortion for the rest of their life, you or your friend will! Please make sure you have all the facts:
