How do I talk to this guy at school that I really like? And I don't know him that well.?

I knew him since last year. so i can't really have a friend introduce him to me b/c we kinda know eachother but not extremely well like best friends know eachother.

well if you have a friend that knows him then, she/he can introduce you too or if you end up in the same class, ask him for a pencil and go from there

Start out by saying hi whenever you see him. After doing that for a while, you can be sure he has noticed you. Then you can start saying a little more, such as "how are things?" (I am not young, so use your own question there). After doing that a few times you can get to more specific questions such as: "is Mary in your History class? She says it isn't too bad. What do you think?"

This will start a conversation. If he is interested, he will start responding and you will be able to see if he likes you too.

I use to feel the same way you do probably. It's hard to open up to someone when you're shy and you like someone. My suggestion would be that if you see him give him a casual hello. Once you've built up seeing each other for some time and saying hello you can be a little more bold and ask more about them. It works.

You sound bit confused. You can not like a person without knowing him very well. May be you like the feeling that you like him. That is because he might be popular among girls, he might be a related to a sport you like, good in academics or, simply good looking. Try to spend more time with him so that you will be sure whether you like him or no. If you really like him, you will not ask anybodies' suggestion to express your feelings. It comes naturally.

make eye contact with him somewhere, hallway, classroom etc.

hold his gaze for a moment and be aware of your facial expression. (don't look down or away for at least a count of 3) smile slightly then you can look away.

repeat this occasionally. as long as you look away without staring him down and give him a genuine but not goofy smile, it is very likely that he will find a way to talk to you. (if this happens do not play hard to get)

ok, here goes...what does he like? do u guys share any interests? if so, bring them up. start a conversation. ask him if you can borrow one of his CDs, or talk about where your favorite band is playing next. it is going to take time. but when your intution tells you to ask him out, just ask. don't hold back. if he declines, he's not worth it.
