I am learning how to play the acoustic guitar, but I need help with the chords and reading notes and stuff. Do you know of a good website I can check out that might help? Thanks!

A basic Guitar book would probably be better than a website. You can pick up great books at your local music store.

Actually, you'll do better at a music store. Find a salesperson there who can recommend a good guitar book for beginners, and get a few tips from him/her on how to proceed. Good luck!

man dont fool around with notes go with tabs!
its really easy all you have to do is like this
|e-3
|B-3
|G-0
|D-0
|A-2
|E-3

ok now that is a G courd the E is your biggest so you put your finger on the 3rd fret the one with the first dot on it...the string that is right below that is a A you put your finger on the scond fret the 0 means its open you dont put your fingers on anything

you can get guiterb tabs n' stuff online which are self explanitory
just google, guitar tabs and even a song you wanna learn and yl be sure to find what you want, practice makes perfect

you should get lessons if you really want to learn the guitar or get a book for a beginning guitarist.
