how do u clear ur searches?

i went to internet properties... cleared my cookes,files and history but when i search in yahoo. the searches are still there.

You can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.

You can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok.

To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok.

Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete, check the 4 boxes that are there, click on clear forms & or clear passwords.

Have a close look at the icons on the tool bar. do you se a small black upside down triangle at the side of every icon, well if you click on it a drop down menu will appear with all sorts of things on it.
The one you want is on the left if the search box. look for options and personalize your tool bar.
you can also highlight the search and press delete on your keyboard.

u do what u did...they go away...or do wHAT U DID...CLOSE DOWN THE ENTERNET AND RESTART IT AND THEY WILLBE GONE
