If you knew someone with Alzheimer's you wouldn't be making jokes about it.
Those suffering from this terrible disease have caretakers who keep track of their appointments and get them there on time.
The meetings are usually for caregivers and family--not the afflicted. They are support groups. If someone you love has Alzheimer's you need at the support you can get.
I know because my dad has it.

I don't' know if this is suppose to be funny, but their family would take them. Or if they are in a home, the care givers would take them to the meeting.

Not everyone with Alzheimer's has a complete loss of memory, there are stages.

I don't think your joke is very funny, if it is one.

Peace.

well usually if an alziehmers patient has like a meeting to go to, whether its a doctors meeting or whatever, they usually have someone assisting them. Most of the time Alzeihmers patients have people that come in once in a while to help them out with daily activities

From what I understand, these meetings are geared more toward the family members taking care of the afflicated person. There they can get support from others going through the same experience.

I'm guessing that either the program coordinator, caregiver, or a family member give some assistance in that area. Some of these people use paratransit as well.

dont even know how to answer this. other than to say you are an extremely rude and insensitive person. alzheimers is a disease that robs a person of their very essence and being. i feel it is extremely wrong for you to joke about something such as this.

i lost both my parents to this diesase and had to watch them slip away.. i only hope you dont have to experience it yourself

Your attempt at humor only makes you look stupid. The meetings are for the families whose loved ones suffer from the disease. They are support groups. Please help you if any one in your family falls victim to such a debilitating, progressive disease.
