i would only take them if i knew how old they were. go to a local drug store and buy women's one a day vitamins. i used those during my pregnancy. they actually had more vitamins in them than the prenatals prescribed by my doctor. and they don't taste as gross.

No you don't want to take regular vitamins. They have too much of the bad vitamin a. Too much Vitamin A is bad for the baby and can do serious harm. If you are going to be away for a while and cannot get to your prenatal for a while then I suggest going to a store like GNC or Walmart and buying some prenatal vitamins. GOOD LUCK

how long will you be away from home? If you'll be back in a day or two, I say, just take your prenatals when you get home, otherwise, go buy some fresh vitamins. Are you SURE the things in the plastic bag are vitamins?? Throw them away.

does your doctor know that you want to take vitamins in a plastic bag? and for you to ask a question like this shows that you have a uncertainty or hesitation about taking them anyway! dont take them if they are not PRENATALS!

You can take vitamins that are not prenatals. What on earth are people talking about? I always just take Centrum.

Depends on what they are and how old they are. When vitamins are taken out of there protective seal they lose potency. I never took pre-natel I was taking Centrumn everyday before, during and after and they were just fine.
Good Luck :-)

if these are your prenatals that you carry around in a baggie then they are fine to take. don't take them if they are real old . it won't hurt you to miss your vitamins for a day.

Yes this is a silly question.
Never take anything without talking to your OB doctor first.
