I personally liked the Nightmare series the best, then Halloween, then Friday the 13th. NIghtmare had the most plot to each movie. Halloween was good but the series tried going into too many diff plots during the franchise with each film so it lost its edge. I never was a big fan of Friday the 13th. Was never much of a plot throughout the franchise.

I liked the Halloween films better. I thought Michael Myers was pretty damn scary. Plus I think the Halloween films had more good ones than the other two. Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street only had like 2 or 3 good ones, but Halloween I like almost all of them.

I never liked any of them then one day I watched Halloween and liked it Nightmare on elm street is to graphic for me and I like how in both Halloween and Friday the 13th the killers never talked because I found Freddy's voice to be quite annoying

Freddie and Jason both don't scare me..but Michael Myers scares the living daylights out of me! If you're looking for a good scary movie, I'd recommend the first in the Halloween series. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis, and of course..Michael Myers! I've seen all the other ones also and the ones without Laurie Strode (Curtis) aren't as good, but they're not bad.

Depends what you want. Nightmare on Elm Street - Laughs
Friday the 13th - Jump Out of your chair/laughs
Halloween - Edge of your seat. *******

depends on the mood...nightmare on elm street is too fake, graphics wise, for me.
friday the 13th is alright......but halloween is really scary because you can think about it as being realistic...crazy masked serial killer...kills to get to sister....hahaha, never know.
